Which is better: IIT Hyderabad EEE or IIT Indore EEE?

IIT Indore, ranked 13th for engineering while IIT Hyderabad, ranked 17th were established almost together a decade ago, and since then have witnessed remarkable growth and won many recognitions.

• IIT Hyderabad- It has a technology incubator for EEE students for Fabless Chip Design in collaboration with universities from across the globe to help innovative ideas come to the fore and succeed.

Placement

IIT Indore

• Average placement rate of 85%
• Major recruiters were CISCO, AVTEC, Qualcomm, Snapdeal, Virtusa, Ansys, among others
• Highest CTC of 56 LPA
• Average CTC of 10 LPA

IIT Hyderabad

• Average placement rate of 90%
• Major recruiters were CISCO, Capgemini, DRDO, Mercedes, Tata Motors, Ansys, among 20 others

It is very tough to distinguish between these colleges as these are premier institutes of the nation. Infrastructurally they are almost at par with all facilities available. Faculties are highly qualified, few being involved in many government funded research projects. Hence, it is up to the student to choose a given course in a particular college.
