• The Department of Chemical Engineering at IGIT Sarang has equipped laboratories namely fluid flow lab, chemical technology lab, fuel technology lab, heat transfer lab, mass transfer lab, process control lab, chemical reaction engineering lab, and computer-aided design lab.
• The Institute is located in an industrialized belt that possesses different chemical, metallurgical, and power sectors.

• The department has two professors and eight assistant professors, and all of them are highly qualified. Most of them have completed their Masters and Ph.D. from I.I.T.
