Yes, Hemchand Yadav University is affiliated with University Grants Commission (UGC). Durg University came into existence after the bifurcation/division of existing Pt. Ravishankar Shukla Viswavidyalaya Raipur (C.G.). Durg University consists of 116 affiliated colleges and offers a wide range of courses in undergraduate and postgraduate. All courses offered by the university are UGC approved.
