How are the placements this year at IIT-BHU Varanasi for mechanical?

Mechanical Engineering Department at IIT BHU has good placement records having companies visiting campus for jobs in both Core as well as Non-Core Profiles. Some of the well-known Core Companies visiting the Campus include DRDO, IOCL, Hindustan Unilever, Jaguar, TATA motors, TATA Steel, Trident Groups, Reliance, VE commercial vehicles, Carrier, Otis, Maruti, L&T, Hindalco, BPCL, Eaton, etc. While the List of Companies is not only restricted to the core, but Students get offers from Non-Core Sectors too like Software, Consulting, Analytics, Management, Business, Finance, Education, etc. 
Non-Core Companies visiting Campus which also provides jobs to Mechanical Engineering students includes Google, Myntra, UBER, TCS, Flipkart, OYO Rooms, Times Internet, PayPal, Wipro, etc. In Education Sector too many Coaching and Colleges visit the campus including Aakash, Allen, SRM University, Resonance, etc. 
Every Year the Placements of Mechanical Department is rising. With 109 students registered in Training and Placement Cell from Mechanical Department, it has been seen that most of the students are placed in well-known organizations with an Average Package of 10 lakh CTC. The Highest package in Core is around 31 Lakh CTC offered by HUL while in non-core is nearly 41 lakh CTC. Thus, the overall placement percentage of students in the Mechanical Engineering Department is above 90%.
