Yes, medical students get single rooms in AIIMS Jodhpur. The rooms are well-furnished. Students are provided with beds with storage, pillow, mattress, armirah, study table with a chair, and a small low-height table. The facilities offered are similar to that of 2nd gen AIIMS. Although the rooms are single occupancy, two adjacent rooms are connected through a passage. But you can use curtains to separate the rooms.

Yes, according to some of my friends studying at AIIMS Jodhpur, the medical students get spacious single rooms on the campus of AIIMS Jodhpur.

  • Between the rooms, there are partitions in the walls of the UG hostels that are mainly for the 1st, 2nd, and the middle session of 3rd-year students.
  • This is because the other person in the next room can get an idea if his/her neighbor is alright.
  • Although, for the privacy concerns, a student can put a curtain on the wall and if the two side room people cordially match their vibe, they can even remove the partitions.

In the 3rd year, however, one shifts to proper single rooms with the facility of attached washrooms in the PG hostels. A student can apply the wallpaper or make drawings to decorate the interior of their rooms.
