According to UIT-RGPV rules, students are required to maintain a minimum of 75% attendance. Students failing to maintain a minimum of 75% attendance, get disbarred from taking the mid-sem and final examination. Although the restrictions regarding attendance may vary depending on the college and department, try to maintain the minimum attendance, to be safe.

One of my friends had studied at UIT RGPV and here are some of the facts stated as per him:

  • One of the benefits of studying at this college is Attendance. In the first year of the engineering program, you need to attend the class but it would not be that much when compared to other private colleges.
  • Only basic attendance is needed to avoid getting detained from the mid-semester exams.
  • The department avoids detaining students from the final semester exams. If your attendance is too short, you will be asked to write extra assignments to cover up.

In the final year, you can completely focus on your career goals. You can talk to recent studying students and know the current scenario.
