M.Tech Automobile Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (2018)

My brother went to IIT Madras and according to him, all professors are intellectual powerhouses. Here are some of his personal favorite professors in no particular order:

  1. Dr. Pramod S Mehta- IC Engines Lab: Dr. Mehta’s classes are adorning. He teaches everything from the basics and in an elementary manner leaving no room for doubts. Everyone is at the same level of learning in his classes. He makes the classes engaging and interactive. His quizzes and assignments are intriguing and interesting.
  2. Dr. A Ramesh- IC Engines Lab: His classes are also very engaging. He teaches everything in simple terms making it easy to grasp. Once you attend his classes, you hardly need to revise those topics.
  3. Dr. Parag Ravindran- Machine Design Section: A very humble and polite teacher who teaches some of the hardest subjects in a very easy and simple way. He pays a lot of attention to achieving perfection in his subjects.
  4. Dr. V Raghu Prakash- Machine Design Section: You will be amazed by his knowledge regarding anything and everything. Everything was just at his fingertips.
  5. Dr. Ratna Kumar Annabatulla- Machine Design Section: Always energetic. He works hard so that his students understand his subject well. He teaches everything from the basics without assuming that students have any kind of knowledge regarding it.
  6. Dr. Seshadri Sekhar- Machine Learning Section: A very kind-hearted professor who cares for everyone. He is students’ favorite because of his helpful nature and his interactive classes.
  7. Dr. Narasimhan Swaminathan: He is one of the youngest professors but, one of the best when it comes to teaching. He will make you ponder upon anything that he teaches.
  8. Dr. S P Venkateshan: He is an emeritus professor. His love for mathematics is beyond description. His classes help in a great way in imparting and establishing concepts.

Hope this helps.
