CSE deals with computer programming and networking, circuit designing and writing software that powers them, program design and programming languages. The BTech and MTech courses are of 4 years and 2 years respectively.
Which is better, UPES Dehradun or PEC Chandigarh?
Both UPES Dehradun and PEC Chandigarh are reputed institutes. I have few friends from both institutes and based on the reviews I got from them, I will say UPES is a better choice.

- In this college, you will find various kinds of extracurricular activities which will help you in developing your leadership and communication skills.
- This college also has collaborations with international universities and they conduct varieties of students exchange programs.

- According to the recent placement trends, the placement average for the institute is 90%. The top recruiters of this college are Accenture, Nestle, L&T, Microsoft, Google, Ashok Leyland, Cairn, and Wipro. In the last placement drive, the highest and average CTC offered at the institute were 45 LPA and 6.5 LPA.

Which is better, IIFT Delhi, IIFT Kolkata, or IIFT Kakinada?
Among all the campuses, IIFT Delhi is the best option. The Delhi campus is the oldest and offers better facilities. One of my friends is studying in ECE in IPU MAIT so I can tell you about this. Here is what he had to say about the branch.
- If you are a beginner in a coding language then better make a habit of coding on a regular basis. The fact is at MAIT almost all companies visiting for placements are IT companies. If you are not good at coding by any then your chances of getting placed are pretty slim.
- The academic atmosphere at MAIT is great. But the exam culture of IPU is not so good, because they are always going to test your mugging up ability and not your knowledge. So, this is a minor issue in MAIT.
