The answer to this question depends on the interests. It totally depends on the field of interest of the student.

•  If one is interested in software and development and using devices such as laptops or mobile phones, then one can choose Software engineering at Delhi Technological University (DTU). 
• If one is interested in the hardware part, then he/she should opt for ECE at NSIT. 
•  After all if one is still confused to make a decision for either of the streams, then only the candidate should apply for Software Engineering at DTU.

There are few differences between the CSE and the IT branch in MNNIT in Allahabad. One of my friends studies at MNNIT, so I can give you the basic difference between these two branches.

1. Academically: 5th and 8th Semester subjects of CSE and IT branch are different. 
2. Learning: There is not much difference on the learning basis. Core subjects are the same in both departments. In both departments, you will learn through self-study. 
3. Placements: There is no difference in placement of CSE and IT branches. Several companies come for placement for both departments, giving you several opportunities. 

The recruiting companies are more or less the same that offer both CSE and IT. The list includes - Microsoft, Google, Accenture, Oracle, PWC, Capgemini, Byju’s, Jaro Education, Adobe, Goldman Sachs, etc.

There is only a slight difference between both departments. Both the departments of MNNIT Allahabad are almost the same on the basis of learning, placement. So, if you want to join MNNIT Allahabad CSE or IT branch then go for it.

CSE at IIIT Allahabad wins hands down when the choice is between IIIT-A and BITS Goa. Both institutes have the same coursework for CSE, but IIIT-A offers it for one-third the fee of BITS Goa. Most of the students opt for BITS just for the brand name. The faculty at the BITS campus is not as good as that of IIIT Allahabad as it is funded by MHRD while BITS is a private institute.

IIIT NR has most of the faculties with immense experience in their field. They are so helpful and always guide you at each level of your course. It is the first institute in Central India that has introduced Data Science and AI in B.Tech. The institute is located 25km away from Raipur city. You’ll be close to the railway station though. So, there are no transport issues. The institute gives you better exposure than any other new NITs. You will learn, grow and enjoy your campus life thoroughly. LNCT is one of the most prestigious private institutes in the country. LNCT is synonymous with quality because of its world-class facilities, excellent infrastructure, well-equipped laboratories, and extensive libraries, as well as its student-friendly campus.

• The faculties are well-experienced and cooperative. 
• The Training and Placement Cell, on the other hand, actively works with students and administrators to assist them in securing a position in any company of their choice.
• Companies such as WIPRO, Cognizant, Amdocs, Infosys, DXC, Accenture, TCS, and many others come to the institute on a regular basis to recruit qualified students from various branches. The average CTC offered by the institute ranges between 3-8 LPA. 

Overall, it is a nice institute. So if you are getting admission, just go for it.

Before diving into any conclusion, it is important that you understand the basic difference between B.Tech and B.E degrees. Following which, you have to clarify the doubts you have regarding both NIT Goa and Goa Engineering College.

• If you weigh the general brand value that arrives with the NIT tag, you will then already be more exposed to the industrial demands and explore better opportunities at NIT.
• However, there has been a genuine depreciation at Goa Engineering College. 
• You can possibly go out, looking for particular job offers after the completion of the B.E degree but you will obtain better placements by the college cell itself. 
• When talking about the faculty, there are several Ph.D graduates from most of the top institutions who have been teaching at NIT Goa. 
• The highest salary package was 16 LPA at NIT Goa. 
• On the other hand, at GEC, you might or might not secure placement. 
• Their highest package sometimes does not reach even up to 7 LPA. 

Therefore, it is suggested that you opt for NIT Goa, as it will provide you with better opportunities. They have an active placement cell, which not only helps with placements but also conducts seminars, internships and industrial visits.
