Which is better, PDPU ICT or SEAS ICT?
Both PDPU and SEAS are very good and reputed colleges. PDPU is a member of AIU and is NAAC accredited with an 'A' grade. NIRF has ranked the university at 55th in overall and 1st in Gujarat whereas SEAS is ranked at 60.
To compare both of these well-governed and well-facilitated universities, we have to look at all the perspectives possible.
Courses:
- PDPU being very diverse having many sub-branches and special courses in petroleum. It comprises a total of 16 courses in which 9 courses are offered in bachelor of technology.
- SEAS offers a total of 4 courses in which 3 courses are offered in bachelor of technology.

PDPU:
- For admission in Bachelor of technology, one must secure 45% marks in Intermediate Examination with a valid score in GUJCET and JEE Main.
- Last year cut off for GUJCET was Round 2 | rank 1489. For JEE Mains it changes per year and according to university.
- A total of 180 seats are available per course.
- The course fee is almost 9.50 lakhs.
SEAS:
- For Admission in Bachelor of Technology, one must secure 45% in intermediate examination with a valid score in JEE Main and GUJCET.
- Last year cut off for GUJCET was Round 2 | Rank 1330. JEE Mains cut off is not exact.
- A total of 120 seats are available per course
- The course fee is 6.52 lakhs.

Both the universities are good in their own way, having a well-versed syllabus, a diverse crowd, and capable faculty. The academics in both universities are renowned all over the state. Both the universities are newly established, so there is a well maintained and well-facilitated campus and infrastructure. Some may say one is best and others say ‘No’ other is, but looking at the statistics, there is not enough difference in these two universities to determine which is “The Best”.
Is IIEST Shibpur better than nits?
As a student of IIEST Shibpur, I will try to present an unbiased opinion on this query.
- Funding- NITs have been institutes of national importance for quite a while now. On the other hand, IIEST became a national institute only a few years ago. But now as a national institute, IIEST receives the same funding as the IITs, which is more than the funding for NITs. The more the funding, the better are the labs and other infrastructural facilities of a college.
- Rankings- IIEST has been placed 35th in the 2023 NIRF engineering rankings. This is higher than most NITs, except NIT Trichy, Surathkal, Rourkela, Warangal and Calicut.
- Research- IIEST is highly regarded for its achievements in research. In this respect too, it beats most NITs. The research projects undertaken, and papers published by its researchers are proof of the same.
IIEST is thus better than most NITs, barring the top ones. Even as BESU, it was performing better.
Which is better, NITIE or IIM Trichy?
NITIE is superior to IIM Trichy in every respect. There are many students who have received calls from several other top business schools but ultimately chose NITIE as their first choice. Some may argue that IIM Trichy has the prestige of being an IIM and is more well-known to the general public, but the individual believes that what really matters is the reputation of the institute among employers. NITIE has a strong reputation in the field of operations and a good return on investment, as well as the advantage of its location. It also provides numerous opportunities for industry experience.
A lot of students believe that it is not worthwhile to choose a business school based on its potential status in 15 years, as by that time, the individual will already have achieved success and the specific business school they attended will not matter as much.
NIT, Srinagar CSE vs UIET Chandigarh CSE. Which is better option?
NIT Srinagar CSE is the better option. The NIT tag will offer you many advantages. You will get better exposure and placement. Students of the CSE branch receive multiple placement offers. NIT Srinagar placements have an average package of around INR 13 LPA for the circuital branches like CSE, ECE, etc.
You won’t face any disturbances on the campus. The environment on campus is ideal for studies. The hostel accommodation is good and the whole campus is wifi enabled.
What should I prefer, DY Patil or VIIT Pune?
VIIT Pune is a better option compared to DY Patil. It is an autonomous college and offers better academics. It has a decent faculty base. Most of the faculty members are friendly and cooperative. VIIT organizes many technical events such as Robocon, Supra, etc.
It has a better placement record compared to DY Patil. VIT Pune placements 2022 had witnessed an average CTC of INR 6.5 LPA. More than 82% of students got placements through the campus drive this year. Mindtree, ZS Associate, TCS, ION Group, Accenture, etc. are some of the major recruiters that take part in the placement drive.
What is the best university, Medi-Caps University or Sage University in Indore, MP?
Medi-Caps University is the best option as compared to the other universities mentioned here. Sage Universities have started recently. So, you will get better facilities at Medi-Caps.
However, if you have other better options, you should go for them instead. Medi-Caps is still a private college and the placement opportunities offered by this institute aren’t on the same level as SGSITS and DAVV.
Which is a better option, ISB&M Pune or PIBM, Pune?
I have a few friends from ISB&M Pune, so I can give you some ideas about the institute. It is a brilliant choice for anyone who is looking forward to pursuing their PGDM course.
- There is a 100% placement guarantee and the placement stats, so far have been excellent. According to the recent placement statistics, the highest and average CTC offered at the institute are 7.40 LPA and 16 LPA.
- On top of that, you can also go through the list of notable alumni from ISB&M. These people currently are in a great position, working for some of the most reputed and successful brands.

Which is better, electrical engineering from VSSUT burla or CET Bhubaneswar?
To know which is better Electrical Engineering at VSSUT or CET Burla, you need to go through the pros of both institutes
Pros of CET
- Location: CET is located in Bhubaneswar thereby offering plenty of exposure to industries and nearby institutes like IIT Bhubaneswar, KIIT University, NIFT Bhubaneswar, etc. The students also get to experience a dynamic city life in contrast to VSSUT.
- Placement: Owing to its superior location, CET has a slightly better placement scenario.
Pros of VSSUT
- Unitary University: VSSUT is a unitary university so faces no issues regarding examination schedules and result declaration.
- Clubs: VSSUT has an active club life and you will find clubs for almost everything from SAE clubs, Robotics Society, and Literary Society, to the Drama club, dance clubs, quiz club, music club, and a lot more.
- Environment: Burla is a place far from the hustle and bustle of city life offering a peaceful and serene ambiance.
- Crowd: VSSUT welcomes some great minds who are the top rankers of the state after NIT Rourkela.
- Legacy: VSSUT has a rich legacy of 60 years so its alumni network is very strong which helps in the development of the university.
The pros of VSSUT overshadowed the pros of CET making the former a better choice.
How is college life at DTU/NSIT as compared to Thapar University?
My brother completed his B.Tech from Thapar University while I am doing my B.Tech from DTU. These are some points about both-
- Teaching and Learning Environment- Be it Thapar University, DTU or any other university/college, the truth is that the faculty seems least interested in teaching and the students seem disinterested in learning. However, like everywhere else, both these institutions are filled with talented and hardworking students who beat all the obstacles and pave their path to success. At the end, it all boils down to your individual choices and your determination.
- Hostel Life- During your hostel life you will attract people like you. Gamers and coders have their own groups, extroverts have their own. It is your individual preferences that will decide your hostel life and friend circle.
- Crowd- Crowd is what differentiates Thapar University from DTU. People at DTU are more open-minded. But even Thapar has a good number of intellectuals.
It is ultimately your own personality that will determine the course of your four years at either of these. Both Thapar University and DTU are great institutions.
Which college is better IMI-Delhi or SIBM-Pune?
I have a friend in both the colleges IMI Delhi and SIBM Pune. From their experiences, I can give you a general picture of the comparison between these two colleges. I personally feel that SIBM Pune has a slight advantage over IMI Delhi in various aspects.
- SIBM Pune has been established much before IMI Delhi and therefore has a stronger alumni base
- SIBM Pune has better summer and final placement offers in comparison to IMI Delhi mainly because of the various alumni who visit the campus for recruitment
- The crowd quality is better at SIBM Pune than at IMI Delhi
- The infrastructure is top notch
- Of all the 5 campuses, SIBM Pune is superior most
- The city location is good and Pune offers a lot of opportunities
The only aspect that SIBM Pune lacks is that it has a 50% reserved quota whereas IMI Delhi has 10% only.
