The two deciding factors in this case are the studies and placements. IIT Dhanbad offers M.Tech ECE in VLSI, RF and Microwave Engineering, Communications, and Photonics. RF and Microwave Engineering is a good but difficult option.
The faculty for VLSI and Communications is good. However, the Photonics faculty is not good at all. 2-3 subjects and labs are common for all ECE students. However, the curriculum for RF and Microwave is entirely different from the other three.
The placement scenario for ECE isn’t good. Very few students are placed from the department, that too in non-core jobs. Those who are well-versed in programming get easily placed in IT firms.
Core companies like Texas, Intel, Amdocs, etc. visit the campus for recruitment. However, they recruit very few students (sometimes none) from the department. Some students do secure internships at firms like Intel. But for final placements, they have to undergo screening once again. The placements are nil in RF. But some universities visit the campus seeking Assistant Professors. They offer good starting packages.
If you get VLSI at NIT Surathkal/Trichy/Warangal, choose that over IIT Dhanbad. The placement for VLSI is very good at these colleges. As for IIT Dhanbad, it offers a very decent M.Tech ECE. The main advantage in this case is the ‘IIT’ tag.
The rankings released by bodies like NIRF are based on not one but several parameters like placements, academics, research, and campus life. So institutes are often ranked low when they fail to meet even one or two criteria.
NIT Patna has a very small campus around 40 acres, so that works against the institute's image and affects the rankings badly. The authorities had a tough time making its campus fully residential. However, the facilities are slowly being improved and new Mega Hostels have recently been constructed.
Another reason for NIT Patna's diminished image is its location amidst the hustle and bustle of the city. While most NITs are located remotely away from the haptic city life, NIT Patna’s central location is another reason why NIT Patna has not been ranked decently.
But if you look at the big picture, many bright students have been able to get placed in huge companies like Adobe, Amazon, Qualcomm, NetApp, Infenera, etc As a whole, NIT Patna is at the same level as tier-II NITs at least in terms of placement and academics.

Yes, it's quite possible to secure a loan for the total fees of Thapar University. Banks offer a variety of educational loans such as
However, banks offer privileges like low-interest rates and Loan Without Collateral only to students of top institutions and sadly Thapar University is not yet among them. One of my friends at Thapar University got a loan from the Indian Bank. Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology is in their List-A, institutions and so he received 100% finance without Collateral up to Rs. 30 Lac.
As for the repayment of the loan, it directly depends on the type of package you land up with. Generally, the placemats here are great and with enough hard work, you will be able to get a good job and thus will be able to repay the loan soon.
CSE branch of top IITs is the most coveted branch of engineering aspirants in India. My sister got the splendid opportunity for the same but claimed that in reality the IIT brand name is overhyped and does not deserve so much attention.
IIT Kharagpur indeed had the best professors, lab facilities, high-tech classrooms, and an extensive range of courses, but like every coin has two sides, IIT KGP has its share of disappointments as well. There are some extremely bad professors and classes.
Much is expected from the students claiming them to be a part of the rich IIT family while the administration is somehow below average and the teaching standards are also deteriorating. You surely will get a good experience but don’t over expect it.
As a fresher, you will find the curriculum quite hectic and unapproachable. Yet with proper motivation and enough time you will find yourself adapting to the rigor and it will become a part of your life. Some major highlights of the course are

In terms of academics and career prospects, Periyar University is average at best. The quality of education offered by the university isn’t up to the industry standers. Syllabus followed is outdated. The examination and evaluation system is flawed. The learning resources and facilities offered by the university are limited.
MIT's chemical department has a rich legacy of over 50 years and is one of the university's oldest and most reputed departments. Here are a few core highlights of the department
Hope my answer gave you a clear insight into the chemistry department of MIT Manipal.
Both IIT Delhi MTech Computer Technology and IIT Hyderabad Mtech CSE are excellent engineering programs. However, my personal suggestion is IIT Delhi Ctech. Here’s why
The only disadvantage you might face at IIT Delhi Is the intense competition with CS students as they are all top rankers.
I don’t mean to demean IIT Hyderabad but it’s a fact that the opportunities and exposure that IIT Delhi will offer cannot be compared to IIT Hyderabad.
