Honestly speaking, a part-time M.Tech course is not of much worth. A course like M.Tech requires a practical approach. This won't be much possible at Anna University. So all you will be left behind is a title attached to your name. This course is also a waste of time and money as the fees of this course are quite high.
This course won't yield you any valuable results unless you are extremely passionate and a self-learner.
My sister received her B.Tech. degree from AKTU via post.
She went to the AKTU student cell in person
Paid the fees for the degree
She received an envelope over which she wrote the address of the receiving post.
She received the document within 15-20 days.
To track your document contact the AKTU grievance cell.
Note- In some cases, a NOC from your college will be required stating that your institution has no issue regarding you receiving the degree directly from AKTU.
You can calculate the index marks for PG admissions at Calicut university by following the below-mentioned simple steps:

If you have worked in the Illiteracy Eradication Programme for 1 year, you get a bonus of 5.
if you were an N.C.C cadet (75% Attendance)/ N.S.S. Volunteer (240 hours), you get a bonus of 5.
If you have an NCC A/B/C certificate you will get a bonus of 3/5/10 respectively.
if you have cleared the Compulsory Social Service Programme, you get a bonus of 10.
If you have needed more than 2 chances to clear your qualifying exam, you get a Minus 10.
These simple steps will help you calculate your index marks for PG admissions at Calicut University.
Yes, you can transfer from Anna University affiliated college to SRM University. But the process in itself is very hectic. You will have to go through it once or seek help from someone who has already transferred.
You can transfer only during odd semesters. The university does not allow transfer during the even semesters. One of my sister's friends wanted to get transferred. So she applied for transfer during the 4th semester and got transferred in the 5th semester.

The answer to this depends upon your purpose of getting into NIT Rourkela. If exposure is the reason, you will get plenty at NIT R. But you will have to be proactive all the time. However, exposure is surely not your first priority.
Good placements are usually the prime reason for students to seek admission into top IITs and NITs. To be honest, the Food Processing Department at NIT Rourkela is not well established. Your food processing department tag will limit your placement options, even at an institute like NIT Rourkela. You will be eligible to sit for the placements of a handful of companies like TCS, INFY, IBM, WIPRO, etc. Hardly any food processing companies visit the campus for placements. But with the right skill set and an NIT Rourkela tag, you may end up with a good off-campus offer. However, you will most probably end up in Analytics, Big Data, or IT.
If you are confident enough, have a passionate interest in other branches like CSE, Electrical or ECE and know your calling, I would recommend you to take a drop. Whichever option you choose, remember that if you are skilled in your field, you will get placed in a good company, sooner or later.
However, this is simply a popular trend, and you don't have to follow it. It is best to make a decision based on your individual preferences.
Doing something that interests you is considerably superior in the long run to doing something you dislike solely for money since, after a few years, money no longer motivates you.
Here are some information to make your decision easier:-
Students coming from other different states of India might face some issues while adjusting to GMC Mumbai or Seth GS College Mumbai. However, I believe your home state or language should not be an obstacle in your education path because both these colleges are very prestigious and are dream colleges of many. Moreover, their location adds to the never-ending pros of these colleges.
Non-Maharashtrian students might face issues while adjusting to government hostels that have scanty rooms, average mess food, and sometimes terrible roommate tantrums.
Language barrier is another major issue faced by non-Maharashtrians. It’s better to know Hindi or English, at least but try to learn the basic native language for easy communication with patients, localities, office staff, and peers. If you don’t know Marathi, you will face serious issues while interacting with your patients and this may affect your performance.
So try to adjust and stay motivated!
In 2007, NIT Hamirpur was ranked as the best NIT in terms of infrastructure by the World Bank. It’s filled with natural beauty and has very beautifully designed buildings. There are more than 10,000 pine trees on the entire campus. The climate is usually pleasant and the view is breathtaking. I believe pictures speak more than a thousand words so here are a few photos of the campus

Mall Road
Trijunction
Electrical Department

Royal Department (Civil)
The pics must have given you an idea of the infrastructure at NIT Hamirpur.

Along with their studies, students have a variety of extracurricular activities to choose from, such as sports teams, clubs, and organizations. These activities offer opportunities for students to pursue their interests, make new friends, and develop leadership skills. Additionally, the university has a vibrant cultural scene, with regular events and performances for students to enjoy. Every city and college has its own unique ambiance which you must be ready to be a part of to enjoy your time to the fullest. Rather than being prejudiced, it's better to adjust yourself sooner.
PGIMS Rohtak is one of the best North Indian medical colleges second only to New Delhi colleges. The institute may not provide a very vibrant nightlife but the living conditions will be better than most 2nd tier cities of India. There are enough nonveg options here and many places to explore with your friends. Students love spending their evenings at D Park and enjoying parathe at Kharawar.
Overall, PGIMS Rohtak provides a well-rounded educational experience for its students.
