The choice between CSE from IGDTUW and ECE from NSIT/DTU/IIIT depends on the goals of your daughter. If she is planning to pursue higher studies like MS or a Ph.D., then IIIT Delhi is a decent choice as it’s a research-oriented college. But if she is looking for a job, then IIIT Delhi will offer limited opportunities. This is because getting a job in Core ECE companies like Western Digital and Qualcomm is not easy, as these companies prioritize master students. A few talented students do get placed in Software firms.
In IIIT Delhi first year is the same for both CSE and ECE during which the students are taught Introduction to Programming, System Management, Computer Organisation, Data Structure, and Digital Circuits. Your chances of placement also depend on your CGPA which should be preferably above 7. IIIT Delhi offers the flexibility to choose the CSE courses, provided that you complete the minimum credits requirement in the last two years of B.Tech for the degree.
In all, I feel, that NSIT and DTU will offer great job opportunities because of their brand name but IIIT Delhi will teach you new things and also offer research opportunities
So it’s best to go for NSIT or DTU or IIIT Delhi. Choose wisely.
XIMB is better than IMI. It ranks among the top B-Schools in the country. In terms of career outcome, it is well ahead of IMI. XIMB placements 2022 concluded with an average CTC of INR 17.54 LPA. The highest CTC offered this year was INR 32.21 LPA. HSBC, Deloitte, ICICI Bank, Tata Steel, Nestle, etc. were among the major recruiters that took part in the placement drive.
I once visited the campus of Great Lakes Chennai and I knew right then that it was going to be my dream college. I also looked up at the Gurgaon campus and it was clearly visible how the infrastructure of the Chennai campus was way superior to that of the Gurgaon campus.
The Chennai campus is located away from the hustle and bustle of the city in a serene location around 60km from Chennai. This beautiful campus spreads across 27 acres and the tranquility can be felt by all nature lovers. I am attaching some pictures that will do justice to the beauty of this campus
Aerial view of the ground and the mess
Hostels
The pictures alone cannot testify to the campus's beauty so it's recommended you visit it once.
Ultimately, both campuses offer equal opportunities and education the only difference lies in the infrastructure and quality of campus life.

NIT Durgapur will be better for an M.Sc Physics. The quality of academics and exposure offered is better than any of the non-tech institutes in the region. Most students prepare for competitive examinations like NET, GATE, JEST, BARC, ISRO, etc. NITD also has collaborations with many national institutes and research labs.
Yes, IIEST offers placements to MSc students. But the salary packages offered aren’t very high.
As a class 12th student, it is normal that you have a very limited knowledge of different fields in engineering.
Out of 8 semesters, the first 2 are the same for all branches at BITS. During these 2 semesters you’ll be taught one fundamental course from each branch and some engineering mathematics. In the 7th and 8th semester, you’ll choose open electives from your branch or other branches.
Now as for placements, you can choose some CS courses as your open electives during your ECE, which will help you for IT placements. Even though at present, people tend to focus only on CSE, the demand for ECE will rise in the coming years due to increasing growth in IOT, Smart sensors, Robotics and Communication systems.
Here are the important courses from both these branches-
You can research a bit and then decide which branch will suit you the best. Overall, both these branches are really good, and you’ll have an amazing time at BITS Hyderabad.
Out of the IIMs like IIM Rohtak, IIM Raipur, and IIM Udaipur, IIM Ranchi may be the best choice for several reasons. Firstly, despite being an IIM, IIM Ranchi is relatively new and is still working towards building a reputation for itself. On the other hand, IIM Ranchi is an established institution that has been around for longer and can be trusted for its campus, faculty, and placements.
Additionally, as a newer institute, IIM Ranchi may be more focused on making a mark and establishing itself as a top business school, which could potentially lead to a more dedicated and driven faculty and student body. Overall, while all the IIMs are highly regarded institutes, IIM Ranchi may offer a unique and potentially more rewarding experience due to its status as a newer institute.
Pune University is better in terms of syllabus, exposure and examination pattern.
PU is more recognized. So, you will get better exposure, if you are planning on pursuing higher studies.
Here are some reasons why I preferred MVJCE Bangalore over other colleges-
The placements records are quite promising. Companies like TCS, HCL, iGate, Eurofins, Microsoft, Yahoo, IBM, SAP Labs, etc. regularly visit the campus with offers.
Thus, I would recommend you choose MVJCE over Cambridge Institute of Technology.
It’s true that NIT Silchar has a better campus life than other NITs and even NIT Trichy. It has the best infrastructure and facilities among all NITs offering a fairly better campus life. Here are some highlights of campus life here
But that’s where it ends. Apart from college life, NIT Silchar is way behind academics and the research quality is also poor. The placement scenario is also not par with the top NITs although a little improvement can be seen over the last few years. The number and quality of recruiters and placement opportunities in general seem to have improved but still, they have a long way to reach NIT Trichy standards.
NIT Silchar does have a peaceful campus life with a lot of free time, sports facilities, and a nature-friendly campus.
