Instead of going with the conventional approach, let us approach this question differently. This will still be accurate and provide the correct assumptions and statistics as the question demands.
There are 20 IIMs in total and even if all of these institutions have been selecting students for their upcoming batch, the status quo is not more than one-third of the students of a batch of any IIM including IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Bangalore. This is because of factors such as a student’s attitude, previous work experience, and not because of any supply-demand constraints. It is also to be noted that none of the IIMs selects a candidate below 96%ile in CAT.
Out of the total students in a batch at IIM Lucknow, around 150 are fit for consulting roles. Similarly, 100 may be perfect for sales roles and not marketing or any finance roles. Now as we know that 150 students are available for consulting companies, all of these 150 students are made offers by consulting companies visiting the campus and none of the offers gets rejected.
If the richer Investment Banking companies visit the campus, the students will get divided by their preferences as to where to go. But, it was only in the 1990s when Nomura visited the campus of IIM Lucknow making an offer for its global business.
The list of consulting companies visiting IIM Lucknow is as follows: Bain, ATK, BCG, Accenture, McKinsey, Cognizant, HCL, KPMG, E&Y, etc.
A friend of mine recently got her duplicate mark sheets/transcripts issued from IIM Lucknow. There's a simple way which you can also follow and get single or multiple sets of transcripts as per your need and requirement.

IIM Lucknow conducted the 2017 CAT after 7 years. The institute is known to be quant-oriented. The quant section is generally most difficult on years, IIM Lucknow set the question paper. But an overall balance is maintained in terms of difficulty. If the quant section is difficult, the other section will be comparably easy.
It is natural for B-Schools to stick to their forte. But that does not mean you need to change your preparation strategy. Rather than trying anything new, you should try to strengthen your skills.
On the basis of your CAT score, gender, academic, and work profile the institutes shortlist you and give out calls to attend their interview process. On the basis of your combined performance score in the interview and your overall profile, you’ll be granted admission.
IIM Lucknow:

After the interview, the following weightage is followed for the admission process of the institute. FMS Delhi calculates a Composite Score whereas Shillong has sectional cutoff. Your academics play a major role in calculating the composite score. Some tips for candidates from SC and ST categories are
If your academic record is below average, answer more questions accurately to compensate for that.
Quant was heavily emphasized at IIM Lucknow. In the interview, they questioned me about the reasons for my low quantitative score. They are also very interested in increasing diversity. To meet both of these criteria, the number of quantitative questions may increase, but the overall difficulty of the section may decrease for non-engineers.
The DILR section will remain challenging. It's the only section where test takers can get a sense of a candidate's intelligence and decision-making abilities. DILR will retain its difficulty because CAT is now administered on a single day, making it easy for test takers to keep track of the difficulty level and scale their scores accordingly.
The convenor of the CAT has been replaced. As a result, the format of the test may change significantly. A well-prepared student will perform regardless of how many changes the test format may undergo.

I know it is a tough decision because I have seen my sister in a similar dilemma last year. What she did was focus on the below 3 aspects and made a decision.
Work Experience: It’s not understandable that with a work experience of 3+ years why you are only targeting IIM Lucknow and not other top IIMs like A B or C. Also if you don't want IMTG, you should wait and give GMAT and try for ISB.
Educational Background: Your chances of getting into IIM Lucknow next year depend largely on your past academic records which cannot be changed. So you need to ensure they are enough to make you eligible for the cutoff and worth the wait.
Lastly, you should be confident of the risk you are willing to take. Choosing IMTG vs IIML is a no-brainer. So check whether you are choosing IMTG just because you are not confident of being able to get into IIM Lucknow next year or not.
Honestly, both institutes have their own legacy and are excellent in the finance sector. Yet here I am writing some major points in favor of IIM Lucknow based on my cousin's experience.
Placements: The placements at IIM Lucknow for finance have been doing exceptionally well with the highest CTC standing at INR 53.34 LPA and the average CTC at INR 32.21 LPA. A good number of front-end roles, corporate finance roles, and foreign markets desks based out of India were offered.
Faculty: The top-notch faculty offers the best classroom learning backed up by Guest lectures and Industry workshops to promote maximum exposure.
Learning: IIM Lucknow offers a wide range of electives to choose from based on your interests. Some of them include Investor Psychology, Quantitative applications in finance, Project Finance, Corporate Banking & Risk Management.
SPJIMR is also a good choice for Finance but from what I have read, many major firms that visit IIM Lucknow don't visit SPJIMR so this might limit your opportunities to a small extent.
