XLRI Jamshedpur Hosts the Inaugural Ceremony on Technology and Consulting "TechCon 1.0"

New Delhi: XLRI XOL PGDM held its maiden conference on Technology and Consulting - TechCon 1.0 – Innovate, Grow & Transform on Online Platform, where participants learned from prominent corporate leaders and industry leaders.

Dr. Sanjay Patro, Dean of Academics at XLRI Jamshedpur, gave the opening speech before Sandeep Bathla, Executive Director of Plasser India, gave the keynote address on "Business Excellence via Innovation."

He also shared insights on the growth strategy for every organisation: "Forgetting the past, working on the present, and building for the future."

Vibhu Goenka, VP of EXL Analytics, Arijit Sarkar, VP of EY, Nandhakumar Muthukrishnan, Associate Partner & India Lead- Energy, Utilities & Service Business Consulting, Infosys, and Sudheshna Choudhury, Partner Ecosystems & Alliances, TCS participated in the first panel discussion on the impact of technology on consulting.

The panel discussion was moderated by Rahul Singh, a student of XLRI XOL PGDBM. They talked about how consulting has changed over time and how technological improvements have benefited businesses.

Arun Misra, CEO of Hindustan Zinc Limited, Ravishankar Rao, Director, Strategy & Operations, Sudeepta Veerpaneni, Partner, Deloitte, and Kavitha Siddala, Head Design & Engineering participated in the second-panel discussion, which was moderated by Dr. Abhishek Chakraborty, Faculty Member of XLRI Jamshedpur.

By overcoming obstacles and exhibiting leadership quality at every level of the company to achieve and alter the Company and Eco-system overall, they conceived Digitalization and Automation in Businesses.

Sudipta Ghosh, Partner & Analytics Leader at PwC, and Rudrani Das, Associate Director at PwC, were the main speakers for the final session on "Cost of Technology Risk Aversion," where they gave crucial insights on how organisations can comprehend the challenges and fundamentals surrounding the design and implementation of technology.

Archana Purohit and Amrutha, students at XLRI XOL who hosted and summarised the entire session, gave a vote of gratitude to bring the great event to a satisfying conclusion. Along with Dr. A. Kanagraj, Placement Convener and Faculty Member - Finance, Dr. Gloryson Chalil, Associate Dean, XLRI XOL, was present.
