West Bengal College Admission 2021: West Bengal Education Minister Bratya Basu held a meeting with the Vice-Chancellors of the state universities for deciding on undergraduate course admission in the state on Wednesday, July 07, 2021.
During the virtual meeting held by West Bengal Education Minister Bratya Basu, Vice-Chancellors of over 20 state universities discussed the commencement of UG admission 2021-22 and the PG program's admission process well.
Referring to the meeting, the Education Minister said, "The meeting took some decisions regarding the process of admission to undergraduate courses in affiliated colleges and universities, the schedule. Whether there will be entrance tests but I cannot divulge the same. The higher education department will come out with a notification very soon" he added.
It is to be expected that West Bengal College Admission 2021 for various undergraduate courses in the state will start from the first week of August 2021, and continue till September 30, 2021.

However, the issue of blending mode of teaching, and exam commencement were not discussed in the meeting. Students can expect to receive official notice regarding West Bengal College Admission 2021 for UG programs, shortly.
Earlier, several states have already announced the cancellation of board examinations for class 12th students due to the surge of an ongoing covid-19 pandemic. Class 12th Result 2021 for all board students whose exams have been cancelled will be prepared based on the marking scheme released by their respective boards.

Many states have already decided to start UG Program Admission for the next academic session only after the release of the Class 12th result. The admission for students is expected to start based on the merit list released by colleges.
During the meeting, the Bengal State university vice-chancellors also discussed the commencement of Post Graduate Course admission 2021 in the states. The state is also expected to start the admission for the PG course in September for students.
