University of Hyderabad and State Bank Institute of Rural Banking to Jointly Offer Training Programs


New Delhi: School of Management Studies (SMS), University of Hyderabad (UoH) has recently joined hands with the State Bank Institute of Rural Banking (SBIRB) on April 21, 2022, to jointly work on various academic programs.

Under this collaboration, the School of Management Studies and University of Hyderabad (UoH) will work with SBIRB to offer joint training programs, exchange of faculty resources, and research programs to students of both universities. 

Additionally, SMS and the University of Hyderabad will also organize various conferences, proposals for external funding, publication collaborations, exchange of materials and other publications, and offer students with internships programs on the campus ground.

As per the official press statement released, students of both universities will have the opportunity to apply for placement support services and academic consultancy services under this collaboration. 

Hyderabad University Courses & Fees

Earlier, the University of Hyderabad (UoH) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ACCESS Health International (AHI) to work towards the shared goal of capacity building within study programs across schools, collaborative research projects.

The three-year-long collaboration aims to provide students with internships, academics and research in actuarial sciences, digital initiatives, and big data analytics in the area of healthcare.

This year, the University of Hyderabad, UoH signed an MoU with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) for conducting research and innovation on next-gen communications technologies, semiconductor engineering, and heterogeneous computing architectures. 

Talking about the collaboration, VC, Professor B J Rao, said, “Such partnerships with industry are a crucial component of our endeavors to encourage UoH academicians’ research and innovation initiatives, which will remain anchored to the industry imperatives and play a meaningful role in addressing critical business challenges".

Adding to the statement, K Ananth Krishnan, the Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer (CTO), TCS stated that the collaboration is a step towards strengthening the commitment between the two parties. 

“New generation of wireless technology offers an increasing opportunity to seamlessly integrate humans and machines. This initiative will explore NextGen communication and computation, accelerate digitalization, and contribute to our customers’ growth and transformation journeys” he added.

The Memorandum of Understanding will provide UoH the opportunity of collaborating on fundamental research, technology validation, and addressing transformational opportunities.
