UGC SWAYAM July 2021 semesters registration to begin soon, Exam Dates Out; Check Details Here


SWAYAM test dates for July 2021 semesters have been issued by the University Grants Commission (UGC) for IGNOU, CEC, Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIM-B), and National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR).

The UGC in an official release stated, “The SWAYAM examination for the students, working professionals, lifelong learners, who have enrolled for the July 2021 semesters offered by the National Coordinators, has been scheduled for February 4 and February 5, 2022”.

On the SWAYAM web page, swayam.gov.in, candidates can register for the July semester examinations. The proctored exam will be held at designated examination centres across the country by the National Testing Agency (NTA). 

The UGC has also revealed the list of SWAYAM courses that will be offered in the January 2022 semester.

According to the UGC, the "Study Webs of Active Learning for Young Aspiring Minds (SWAYAM) platform is a Government of India Massive Open Online Course (MOOCs) platform, set up with the goal of ensuring that every student in our country has access to the best quality of higher education at an affordable cost.

 It also requested vice presidents of universities and college presidents around the country to embrace SWAYAM courses for credit transfer and to publicize them among students.

Rajnish Jain, Secretary and CVO of UGC said, “Since 2016, a total of 2,448 unique MOOCs have been developed for SWAYAM, 6,945 courses delivered with an enrolment of more than 2.47 crore students. Over 8.63 lakh students approximately have been certified to date.”

Universities and colleges continued to make maximum use of the SWAYAM platform for the benefit of students for continuous teaching and learning during the COVID-19 epidemic, according to the report.

Animations, Animal Biotechnology, AI: Constraint Satisfaction, Academic writing, Access to Justice, and Application Development are just a few of the courses offered by UGC. Students can now access the SWAYAM portal at swayam.gov.in or ugc.ac.in if they are interested. Students can view the courses that will be offered in January 2022 by login into the website.
