The University Grants Commission (UGC) has declared that the National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the SWAYAM July 2021 exam dates. According to a prior statement from the UGC, the SWAYAM test for the July 2021 semester will be held on February 4 and 5, 2022.
However, the UGC has now issued a new notification, stating, “It is now informed that dates of the examination will be communicated by the National Testing Agency on SWAYAM portal."
Another announcement on swayam.gov.in, indicated that the tests are planned for February 20, 2022, and that the date sheet would be released later by the NTA. It should be noted that enrollment for the SWAYAM July tests is now open.
To apply, candidates should go to swayam.gov.in or swayam.nta.ac.in.
According to the UGC, the Study Webs of Active Learning for Young Aspiring Minds (SWAYAM) is a Government of India Massive Open Online Course (MOOCs) platform, set up with the goal of ensuring that every student in our country has access to the best quality higher education at an affordable cost.
It also requested vice presidents of universities and college presidents around the country to embrace SWAYAM courses for credit transfer and to promote them among students.
Earlier this year, the UGC enabled universities and colleges to use SWAYAM to deliver up to 40% of a program's curriculum online in a semester. The UGC has also revealed the list of SWAYAM courses that will be offered in the January 2022 session.
Rajnish Jain, Secretary and CVO of UGC said, “Since 2016, a total of 2,448 unique MOOCs have been developed for SWAYAM, 6,945 courses delivered with an enrolment of more than 2.47 crore students. Over 8.63 lakh students have approximately been certified to date.”
During the COVID-19 epidemic, universities and colleges made full use of the SWAYAM portal for the benefit of students for continuous teaching and learning.
