Telangana SSC 2022: Telangana Board of Secondary Education (BSE) has recently released an important notice regarding the Telangana Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Exam 2022. As per the notice, only 6 exams will be held for class 10th from the 2022 session.
TBSE has released the official notification on its official website at bse.telangana.gov.in. In addition to the 6 exams, the Telangana Board has added the Urdu language as a second language in the course curriculum of Telangana SSC 2022.
Earlier, in the Telangana SSC Exam, there were 11 papers, which have now been reduced to only 6 with the new notification release. Students will have the option to choose Urdu as their second language and add it to their course curriculum.
As of now, Telangana Class 10th Students have the option to choose either Telugu or Hindi as their second language in the course curriculum With the addition of Urdu, students now will have three options to choose from.
The decision to decrease the load from students and conduct only 6 examinations instead of 11 for the class 10th students was made due to the COVID-19 outbreak in the country. The Telangana SSC 2022 will be held like a 2021 session, but with some changes.
As per Telangana SSC 2022 notice, the board has directed the Director of School Education, Telangana, Hyderabad to take necessary actions to follow the notice guidelines.
The official notice reads, "In the circumstances reported by the Director of School Education, Telangana, Hyderabad in the reference 4th cited and after careful examination of the matter, Government hereby extend the orders issued in Govt.Memo.No.777/SE.Prog.I/A1/2021, dt.03.02.2021 by including Urdu as second language i.e; Second language (Telugu/Urdu/Hindi) for the benefit of students for the academic year 2021-22”.
Earlier, due to the case surge of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic in the country, the Telangana Board of Secondary Education (BSE) canceled the Class 10th examination commencement to ensure the safety of the students.
With the cancellation of the Telangana SSC 2021 examination, the result for the same release is based on the evaluation criteria released by the examination authority. Students who were not satisfied with their results were offered the option to appear for a physical examination.
