TAPMI Conducts Online Induction for its 2020-22 PGDM batch


The academic year for the batch 2020-2022 at The T A Pai Management Institute or TAPMI took off on August 12, beginning with a small induction course lasting for a duration of three days.

The batch of 2020-2022 at TAPMI is the 38th batch for the PGDP program. PGDM in Banking and FInancial Services and PGDM in Human Resources Management (HRM) are relatively newer courses and this year’s batch is the third and second batch for these courses respectively. 

There are a total of 394 students in the core PGDM course. The PGDP programs in BKFS and HRM have a strength of 45 and 56 respectively. This is due to the fact that the admission to the institute requires remarkable academic merit. On an average, 1 out of 16 candidates get accepted for admission.

Vishwajit Rane, the Minister of Public Health, Industries, Trade and Commerce, Craftsmen Training, Women and Child Development, Government of Goa, also provided his input through his experiences with the institute. He motivates the students to train themselves as better professionals by always keeping the curiosity alive, being creative, passionate, motivated and goal oriented.  

The entire batch has a total population of 555 students in total with 35% of them being from non-engineering backgrounds. Out of this, 31% of the students are female.
