New Delhi: SP Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR) has launched an online two-year Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) program on Coursera on April 14, 2023 (today).
As per SPJIMR, the course curriculum of this online PGDM course is specially designed for working professionals who wish to keep up their academic pursuits while pursuing their present employment and residences.
The SPJIMR PGDM online program was launched after consultation with top business leaders and industry experts. Under this program, participants will join live sessions with industry experts, faculty from SPJIMR, and pioneers in their particular domains.
Following the course curriculum, functional and general management courses will be offered to participants in the first year of the SPJIMR PGDM Online Program 2023. In the second year, candidates can select among six industry-focused micro-specializations.
There are a total of 80 credits in the program, which equates to 2400 hours of activity. The degree will be offered to participants in a hybrid format featuring both live and recorded sessions.
The course will include live lectures by SPJIMR core and visiting professors, tutorials, pre-recorded sessions covering the fundamentals, case evaluations, discussions and group work sessions for peer learning. The program also includes three campus immersions of five days each.
Individuals will get the chance to speak with entrepreneurs and business leaders through the online program. They will be able to develop their problem-solving, leadership, communication, accountability and social sensitivity skills among the aspirants.
Additionally, participants will become members of the alumni group of SPJIMR. SPJIMR Dean Dr Varun Nagaraj said, "At the core of the online PGDM program is the belief that education should adapt to the requirements of students, rather than the other way around.”
