QS Global MBA Ranking 2023: IIM Ahmedabad & IIM Bangalore Among the Top 50 Institutes

New Delhi: IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Bangalore have secured their positions among the top 50 business schools in the QS World Rankings 2022 for global MBA and Business Master's program. IIM Ahmedabad was placed in 44th rank, while IIM Bangalore stood at 50th position.

As per the latest QS Global MBA Rankings 2023, top Indian institutes that have made the rank list for their MBA programs include IIM Calcutta, Indian School of Business, IIM Indore, IIM Lucknow, SP Jain IMR, XLRI, and Management Development Institute from Gurgaon.

Followed by IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Bangalore, IIM Calcutta has secured 68th rank, which is much higher than it's last year's 76th position, while Indian School of Business has been placed in 78th position, which is a significant rise from the last year's 92 ranks.

Talking about the top places, the Stanford GSB from USA has secured its first rank in QS Global MBA Rankings 2023, followed by Harvard Business School, USA in second place, Peem (Wharton) in third place, and HEC Paris, France in fourth place.

For evaluation purposes, QS took into account a few parameters including employability, alumni outcomes, return on investment, diversity, and thought leadership to rank top institutes for their MBA program in QS Global MBA Ranking 2023.

As per QS, the Indian School of Business is well known for its global MBA program and has the strongest performance in alumni outcomes parameters. The institute is home to the world's third most improved MBA program and it has secured its rank among the top institutes in Qs rankings.

Referring to the rank list, QS informed that “It is the national leader for 3/5 of QS’ metrics, including Employability (39th globally), Alumni Outcomes (25th globally) and Thought Leadership (54th)".

"The Indian Institute of Management Bangalore is the only other business school to rank in the world’s top 50. It enjoys India’s best Return on Investment, with a score of 89.4/100 placing it 54th in the world for this metric,” it further added.
