New Delhi: Punjab School Board Exam 2022 for the second term is to be conducted from March 15, 2022 for classes 5, 8, 10, 12. The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has uploaded this information on the official website i.e. pseb.ac.in.
As per the official statement by PSEB, there will be approximately 12.60 lakh students appearing in the exams. Around 3.07 lakh students are appearing in Class 12 examination, 3.25 lakh students are appearing in Class 10 examination, 3.20 lakh students in class 8 and 3.24 students in class 5 examination.

Janak Raj Mehrok, the Board Controller Examination has explained the details of the exam schedule released. Students should take a note of the highlighted table to mark the dates.

The second term examination, which is the final examination, will be subjective in nature.
“The academic year is divided into two, with each covering 50% of the syllabus. The result will be declared according to the average of both terms. The exams for special students will be conducted in their schools only, while others will be allocated different centres as used to be the norm earlier”, as stated by the PSEB Chairperson Yograj.

Last year, the PSEB announced a 30% reduction in the syllabus for Classes 10 and 12 for the academic session 2021-22. This was due to the disastrous impact of COVID 19 pandemic on the physical as well as mental health of the students.

- To check the schedule for Class 5 and 8, click on the option mentioned as ‘Date Sheet for annual examination of Primary and Middle’
- To check the schedule for Class 10 and 12, click on the option mentioned as ‘Date Sheet for Annual Examination of Matriculation and Senior Secondary’
- Download the schedule for future reference
