Board of Secondary Education (BSE) Odisha has officially announced the Class 10th results 2021 or the matric offline exam 2021 on its official BSE Odisha website @bseodisha.ac.in.
Around 15,000 students had registered for the matric offline exam 2021. However, only 6620 students appeared for the BSE Odisha matric offline exam 2021, of which only 5233 students have now cleared the matric offline examination 2021. It was notified that over 3100 boys and 2133 girls have passed the examination and the overall passing percentage was 80.83%.
The board of secondary exam, Odisha conducted the matric offline exam, which was an improvement test, and it was seen that around 271 students improved their score. However, the result of 459 students has been less than the board exam results.
Nearly 42 students have secured A1 grade, 255 A2 grade, 348 B1 grade, 458 B2 grade, 599 C grade, 846 D grade, 2685 E grade and 141 got grade F.
Due to the ongoing pandemic covid-19 situation across the state, the board exams 2021 for class 10th and 12th was not conducted. Therefore, the BSE Odisha decided to award imputed marks and evaluated the students' score based on the alternative marking system instead of following the regular way.
The Board registered close to 98% passing marks this year, in the alternative marking way. As a result, Not a single school in the State recorded ‘zero’ results. Out of the total 5, 62,010 students who passed the matric exam, 2,80, 351 are boys and 2,81, 658 are girls. The passing percentage among ex-regular students was 88%. The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) had conducted the offline examination from July 30 to August 5 at around 504 students across the state.
