NSUT B.Des Admission 2022 Open; The Last Date to Apply is June 22

New Delhi: NSUT is currently accepting applications for its B.Des course for the academic session 2022-23. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, nsit.ac.in. The last date to apply is June 22, 2022.

NSUT offers its B.Des course for a duration of 4 years. Aspirants can study two specializations under the programme- B.Des in Product Design and B.Des in Fashion Technology. It is required to pass the class 12 examination to be eligible for the programme of NSUT.

Securing rank in a national level UCEED/Fashion Technology / Design entrance exam or any other relevant subject is compulsory for candidates to get admission at NSUT for the B.Des course. After the final selection based on the eligibility criteria, candidates are called for the counselling round.

Merit List-First Preference

• Rank in a national level “UCEED/Fashion Technology / Design” entrance exam (for a 4-year course) of any Central funded Institute.
• In case of a candidate appearing in “more than one” National Exam in “UCEED/Fashion Technology / Design”, the “best rank” in the National Level Exams shall be considered.
• Passed 12th from any recognized institute.

Merit List-Second Preference

• Candidates securing a rank in a state-level “Fashion Technology / Design” entrance exam (for a 4-year course) of any State Govt funded Institute.
• Candidates appearing in “more than one” State-level exam of “Fashion Technology / Design” and “the best rank” in State-level exams of the candidate shall be considered. 
• Passed the 12th from any recognized institute. 

Merit List-Third Preference 

• Aggregate of Class XII percentage
• A minimum of 70% in 12th. 
• If two or more applicants have the same rank, then the candidate older in age will be ranked higher. 
• In case of any unavoidable ambiguity in the "above seat allocation procedure" during "seat allotment", the decision will be taken by the competent authority of NSUT and shall be binding on all.

• Step 1: Visit the official website of NSUT, at imsnsit.org.
• Step 2: Register yourself after filling in the required details such as Name, Email Id, Contact Number etc.
• Step 3: Now, log in with your registration credentials and fill in all details in the Application form.
• Step 4: Pay the application fee and submit the Application form. 
• Step 5: Applicants must also take a printout of the form for all future needs.
