National School of Drama (NSD) is likely to conduct entrance exams in July 2020, meanwhile, it extended summer vacations till June 30, 2020.
NSD has advised its students to stay at home in these trying times due to COVID-19 pandemic. As of now it has extended the summer vacations and informed students regarding conducting activities in a phased manner outside the containment zones.
NSD Entrance Exams
The application process for NSD Admissions 2020 had been concluded by 28 February 2020. Candidates who applied online have to come for admissions after being contacted.
Students have to give auditions, the dates for which will be released when the institute opens after summer vacation.
Earlier, NSD had invited applications for Theatre Appreciation Course which was conducted online only for this year in the wake of COVID-19 outbreak in India.
The course highlights knowledge of theatre and drama by eminent theatre experts as they showcase plays.
The last date to apply was June 6, 2020, and the course will be conducted within June 15, 2020, and June 27, 2020.
The Selection Committee of NSD will shortlist applicants based on data in the application form as seats are limited for this course.
Selected candidates have to regularly attend online sessions. However, students who have already completed this course cannot apply.
