NITIE Mumbai Admission 2023 Open; Last Date to Apply is Extended Till March 10

New Delhi: NITIE Mumbai has begun the application process for admission to the PGDIM and PGDSM programme for the academic session 2023-24. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, @https://www.nitie.ac.in/. The last date to apply has been extended till March 10, 2023.

NITIE Mumbai offers Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Management (PGDIM) & Postgraduate Diploma in Sustainability Management (PGDSM) as its flagship programs that are equivalent to the M.Tech and MBA degree respectively. Candidates seeking admission to the PGDIM or PGDSM programmes can submit their applications till March 10, 2023.

NITIE Mumbai PGDIM & PGDSM Admission 2023: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates intending to enroll for admission to the PGDIM and PGDSM programmes will have to meet the requisite eligibility criteria. 

• Candidates must have a full-time Engineering/Technology degree in any branch from a recognized university with aggregate 60% marks (relaxed by 5% for SC/ST/PwD candidates) and a valid CAT score.
• Candidates in the final year of graduation can also apply subject to the following conditions:
  • Provided they should qualify the above criteria for examinations appeared till date.
  • They should complete their examination, viva voce etc, by the time of joining the Institute.
  • Candidates should take the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) in order to apply for the program. 

NITIE Mumbai PGDIM & PGDSM Admission 2023: Selection Process

• Candidate's are shortlisted for the PGDIM or PGDSM based on the CAT score.
• Indian candidates are shortlisted for the group discussion (GD) and personal interview (PI) process based on their valid CAT scores subject to meeting minimum eligibility criteria. 
• Shortlisted candidates will be then called to the institute campus for the GD and PI process.
• The Merit List will be prepared based on a composite score which considers the candidate's academic records, CAT score, relevant work experience (if any), and performance in the GD and PI process.

NITIE Mumbai PGDIM & PGDSM Admission 2023: How to Apply?

The application process is common to both PGDIM/PGDSM programmes. Candidates can apply for more than one Program. If applying for more than one program, then they need to give their preferences and pay the applicable application fees.

Step 1: Visit the official application portal of NITIE Mumbai @https://www.nitie.ac.in/

Step 2: Register yourself after filling the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.

Step 3: Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.

Step 4: Pay the application fee and submit the Application form. 

Step 5: Applicants must also take a print out of the form for all future needs.
