NIT Surathkal Placement 2022: 86.1% students placed


New Delhi: In a record, National Institute of Technology Surathkal, has been able to place 86.1% of its students for 2022. In the BTech courses alone, the placement percentage is 96.9.

NIT Surathkal, has been able to place 86.1% of its students this year, according to the journal.The placement rate is 96.9 percent in the BTech classes alone.

Recruiters said that placements had been rather dull over the past two years as a result of the Covid-19 situation, and that recruitment was done online as a precaution.

Due to the global environment, the recruitment process has been going well, resulting in a better placement for our candidates, said S Srihari, chairman of NITK Surathkal.

This year, BTech courses achieved a placement rate of 969 percent, which is a new high. A total of 1,608 undergraduate and postgraduate candidates were chosen from a pool of 1,385 applications.

The number of companies visiting the campus has increased by a factor of two. There were 278 companies last year, and it has now surpassed 450 this year.Apart from that, the number of pre-placement offers has increased, with 214 applicants accepted into 57 businesses. 

The highest pay package this season is Rs 45 lakh, while the lowest package is roughly Rs 3.7 lakh. This season's undergraduate programme is almost over. Recruitment for postgraduate positions is also underway and will be concluded in the coming weeks.

The placements this season were excellent.This year, we are getting more inquiries from start-ups and well-established companies.At CDC, we train students in skills growth and resume building, as well as conducting seminars.We have placement coordinators to support applicants in their respective fields.

Microsoft, DE Shaw, Uber, Arcesium, Amazon, Oracle, Google India, IOCL, BPCL, GAIL, BEL, BEML, CDOT, and CDAC were among the NITK Surathkal visited by reviled private and public sector organizations.
