NIT Patna Student Grabs 1.8 Crore Package Job Offer from Amazon

New Delhi: NIT Patna saw a record-breaking recruitment drive, with the institute achieving a 130% placement this year. Abhishek Kumar, a student from the institute, got job offer from Amazon with the highest package of INR 1.8 crore annual salary.

The placement drive of NIT Patna 2022 broke the records of the past five years with students getting placed in leading international organisations.

On December 14, last year, Abhishek obtained the code text, and on April 21, 2022, he received confirmation for this. During this period, he was required to participate in three rounds of one-hour interviews, which were held on April 13, 2022.

Abhishek was interviewed by professional experts from Germany and Ireland. As per him, the interview panel was impressed with his blockchain concept as well as his coding speed.

Additionally, Aditi from the Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE) branch was offered the second-highest annual salary package of INR 1.6 crore by Facebook. She got the job as a Front End Engineer in the NIT Patna Placement 2022. Followed by Sampreeti Yadav from Patna who got the 3rd highest package of INR 1.11 crore from Google.

This year, top NITs in India have successfully conducted placement drives for their Engineering students, with 100% of the batches landing highly paid jobs with renowned MNCs. NIT Placement 2022 began in August and September 2021 and went till February-March 2022.

At NITs, the placement process entails inviting final-year candidates to an interview round with the companies. Recruiters then choose them based on their talents and skills for the respective job roles.

Soon after the NIT Patna placement success stories went viral, the social networking site Twitter was flooded with congratulations and well wishes from all over the world.
