New Delhi: NIT Patna student, Aditi Tiwari grabs the highest-ever package of around INR 1.6 Crore from Facebook during the campus placements 2022, held recently.
Aditi Tiwari is a final-year Electronics and Communication student at NIT Patna. She has been offered the role of Front End Engineer at Facebook.
As per the latest updates, NIT Patna Placement 2022 broke the records for the past five years by 110%. This is a significant increase over past years, as for the longest time the maximum package was between INR 50 and INR 60 lakhs.
This year, top NITs in India have been successfully conducting placement drives for their Engineering students with 100% of the batches getting plum jobs in leading MNCs. NIT Placement 2022 began in the months of August and September 2021 and continued till February-March 2022.
The placement procedure at NITs involves inviting final year students for an interview round with the organizations. They are further selected based on their skills for the recruitment process by the recruiters.
Early last month, it was NIT Hamirpur that topped the list of NITs with the highest CTC being offered as 1.2 LPA followed by NIT Tiruchirapalli at 70 LPA and NIT Calicut with the highest CTC at INR 50 LPA. However, NIT Patna’s new record has set the standards higher than all of them.
