NIT Jalandhar PhD Admission Open for January 2023 Session; Apply till January 10, 2023

New Delhi: National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jalandhar is inviting applications for admission to its full-time and part-time PhD programme offered by its various departments for the January 2023 session. Interested candidates can apply online till January 10, 2023.

NIT Jalandhar is offering a variety of PhD courses in the field of Engineering, Sciences, Humanities, and Management. Applicants Interested in the PhD program can apply at the NIT Jalandhar official portal at nitj.ac.in

To apply for NIT Jalandhar Admission 2023, the applicant must have a UG and a PG degree in the relevant field with a 60% score. Applicants with BTech/ BE/ BS degrees with an 8.5 CGPA qualified from a centrally funded Technical University are also eligible with a Valid GATE score. 

For Humanities, candidates must have a PG degree with a 55% score in the relevant field. A 5% relaxation is also offered to the reserved candidates. 

Candidates will be selected based on marks scored in the entrance test and personal interviews. Every applicant will have to score a minimum of 40% score in order to qualify for the personal interview round.

Candidates with a GATE/ NET (JRF/LS)/ UGC (JRF/LS)/ GPAT/ Inspire Fellow/ Sponsored by some outside agency as full-time candidates are exempted from appearing on the Written Test and shall be directly called for the “presentation and interaction” round.
