The shortlisted candidates for admission into PhD under Full-Time program are eligible to receive institute fellowship as per Ministry of Education, (former MHRD) rules. NIT Hamirpur PhD Admission 2022-23: Eligaibility Criteria
Candidates seeking admission to the PhD programme will have to meet the requisite eligibility criteria.
- Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Technology/Engineering with 60% marks
- Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Science or equivalent with 60% marks or a Master’s degree in Arts/ Commerce or equivalent with a minimum of 55% marks.
- Candidates must have a valid score in GATE/ CEED/ JEST (for Physics) OR Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) of CSIR/ NBHM/ UGC NET / DBT/ ICAR/ ICMR/ ICPR OR DST INSPIRE Fellowship.
- M.Tech. + Ph.D. and M.Sc.+ Ph.D. dual degree holders are also eligible to apply.
- For applicants who have a dual degree, the grade point of the last two semesters of the course will be considered.
NIT Hamirpur PhD Admission 2022-23: Selection Process
- Candidate's final selection to the PhD programme will be done on the basis of performance of a candidate in the interview round.
- Applicants must also have one of the following: CSIR JRF/ UGC/ NBHM/ DBT/ ICAR/ ICMR/ ICPR or DST INSPIRE Fellowship or a minimum of 2 years of professional work experience.

Step 2: Register yourself after filling the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.
Step 3: Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.
Step 4: Pay the application fee and submit the Application form.
Step 5: Applicants must also take a print out of the form for all future needs.
