The National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Visual Disabilities (NIEPVD), Dehradun is inviting applications for admission to its B.Ed Special Education (Visual Impairment) and M.Ed Special Education (Visual Impairment) courses for the academic year 2021-23.
Students who are willing to apply for the B.Ed and M.Ed courses are requested to check the eligibility and apply for the entrance exams before the deadline, January 13, 2022.
NIEPVD Dehradun Admission 2022: Requirements
As per NIEPVD Dehradun, the downloadable application form must be accompanied with a demand draft to be payable at Dehradun. Prospectus-cum-Application Draft is to be issued in favour of Director, NIVH payable at Dehradun all working days 9 a.m. 5.30 p.m, with an additional payment of INR 50.
The completed application form should be sent to Disabilities (Divyangjan) 116, Rajpur Road, Dehradun-248001, January 13, 2022. Other details regarding eligibility are provided below:
For B.Ed Special Education (Visual Impairment) Courses,
- Applicants must have a B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. from a recognised university with at least 50% marks.
- The applicant must have studied two of the following subjects for at least 200 points each at the undergraduate level: English, Hindi, Mathematics, History/Geography/ Economics/Political Science, Science (Chemistry/ Botany/ Physics/ Zoology).
For M.Ed Special Education (Visual Impairment) Courses,
- Applicants must have completed a B.Ed. Special Education (V.I.)
- Minimum of 50% marks from an RCI-accredited university,
- Or a B.Ed. and a one-year/two-year Diploma Course in Special Education (V.I.) with a minimum of 50% grades in both courses.
Note: ST/SC/PWD and EWS applicants only need 45 percent in the minimum eligibility requirements for both programmes.
NIEPVD Dehradun Admission 2022: How to Apply Online?
- Step 1: Students must complete the Online Application Form. A login and password are established.
- Step 2: The student must complete the Application Form and all of its sections.
- Step 3: Scanned images of the candidate's photograph, signature, and left thumb impression are required documents.
- Step 4: Make your payment by Net Banking, Credit Cards, Debit Cards, or Demand Draft.
