Nagpur University Exams to Start from June 8 in Offline Mode, Detailed Time Table to be Released Soon

New Delhi: Nagpur University is gearing up to conduct the semester and yearly exams for the academic year 2021-22. Students of the varsity have been waiting for the conduct of exam. The varsity will be releasing the detailed time table soon on its official website - 

Nagpur University has not announced the mode of conduct of examination. However, as per sources, it is expected that the university will conduct the examination in offline mode.

Nagpur University Exam 2022: Highlights

Earlier in the month, the Maharashtra Higher Education Minister Uday Samant had directed the universities across the state to hold the examination in the offline mode. Following the announcement, the varsity had revoked its earlier decision to conduct the examination in online mode. 

The semester and annual examinations for UG courses is to commence from June 8, 2022, whereas for postgraduate students, the exam will begin on June 15, 2022. Currently, the last date of these exams is not known. However, it is expected that the varsity will release the detailed timetable anytime soon. 

The students of the varsity have been opposing the decision of conduct of examinations in offline mode by stating that the classes were conducted in online mode, hence, they should be held in virtual mode. 

However, with several universities across the state planning to hold offline exams, Nagpur University also decided to go ahead with offline exams, as per reports. 

In other news, the university is currently accepting applications for admission to its undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma courses. This year admission to central universities and most state universities for UG courses will be done on the basis of CUET entrance examination.
