Nagpur Schools Reopening: Rural Areas Schools Reopen on Dec 15 for Class 10th and 12th Students; Check Details Here


Nagpur Schools Reopening: Nagpur Government has given a green light to reopen the schools in Rural areas from December 15, 2020 only for the standard 10th and 12th students. The classes kick-started with the attendance of 16,000 students.

As per the information given by the District Information Officer, It has been observed that a total of 646 schools were operating today with 4,772 teaching faculty and 2,506 non-teaching faculty present in the school campus of all the rural areas in Nagpur. The first day of school was successful and students were relieved to attend the classes physically after a long wait in lockdown.

District Authorities Ordered Nagpur Schools to be Reopened

After the directives were given to the rural school authorities, the Nagpur schools reopened today. The state government has given the rights to the district collectors and local authorities to reopen the schools. The district officials decided to reopen the schools for the sake of the 10th and 12th boards examination which are supposed to be held in the next year. 

They felt that it is time for the students to attend face-to-face classes and are planning to reopen the Nagpur schools for other classes as well.

Nagpur Schools Classes for 5th-8th to Reopen After Receiving a Green Signal from Health Department

Recently, Maharashtra State Government issued a notice stating that schools will be reopening for class 5th to 8th students after getting the go-ahead from the state's health department. State Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad said that they are still discussing the matter with the public health department and will announce shortly. The notice will be issued for the opening of upper primary classes after getting approval from the State Health Department for the same.
