MICAT-2 Admission Process Begins for 2021, Application Closes Today (January 20); Read Details Here

MICA, Ahmedabad has started the MICAT-2 registration process 2021 in online mode for the flagship 2-year PGP programme (Post Graduate Diploma in Management – Communication and Post-Graduate Diploma in Management) for the academic year 2021-23. 

Candidates can submit the application form for MICAT-2 examination 2021 within today, January 20, 2021.

Furthermore, students who want to take admissions in the MBA programme and had missed the chance to appear in MICAT-1 can now apply for MICAT-2, to be conducted on January 30, 2021.

MICAT 2021: How to apply? 

Candidates should follow the below-mentioned steps to apply for MICAT 2021;

1. Visit the official website of MICA.
2. On the homepage, search and click on the link ‘MICAT 2021 Registration.’
3. Fill required details, including Applicant name, mobile number, email address, security code and agree to the terms & conditions.
4. Note down your User Id and Password. 
5. Login as “existing user” and fill the application form.
6. Enter Personal details, postal address, education details, experience details, test city, upload a recent passport size photo in the requisite format & size.
7. Submit your MICAT Application Form and pay the application fee.
8. Take a print out for future references.

Apart from this, the MICAT-1 was conducted on December 5, 2020, and received a very positive response by the candidates. Despite extremely challenging conditions due to COVID-19 Pandemic, the turn-out across 45 centres was around 90%. 

While talking about the online examination, Shailendra Raj Mehta, President and Director, MICA, stated, “When one door closes, another door opens. Do not focus on the closed door; MICAT -2 is there for you.”

MICAT is a computer-based test held twice a year, and the best of the two scores is considered as a candidate may choose to take both MICAT I and II entrance exam. 

Candidates must keep in mind that those who have already appeared for MICAT -1, can also opt to take MICAT-2 and the best one of the two scores will be selected for the further admission procedure. 

This year, the institute has decided to reduce its entrance exam duration, MICAT, by 30 minutes. Thus, the MICAT duration has been decreased from 2 hours 45 minutes to 2 hours 15 minutes.
