New Delhi: The Management Development Institute, MDI Gurgaon has successfully concluded its placement process for the academic session 2022.
The PGDM batch of MDI Gurgaon grabbed numerous offers with impressive salaries, wherein the highest salary stood at INR 1.14 crores.
This year, the institute recorded an increase of 13 percent in the average salary and almost half of the PGDM batch received handsome packages greater than INR 25 lakhs.
Some of the top brands on the campus were McKinsey, BCG, Accenture Strategy, Amazon, Google, Microsoft, amongst a host of other leading brands.
MDI Gurgaon PGDM Placement 2022: Salary Highlights
- This year, MDI Gurgaon witnessed a huge increase of 160% in the highest salary, which was offered at INR 1.14 crores, compared to the previous year.
- The average salary was recorded at INR 26.07 lakhs, up by 13 percent from last year, whereas there was an upstick of 2% in the median salary, which stood at INR 23.50 lakhs as compared to last year.
- The median of the top-10 percent of salaries offered was recorded at INR 44.20 lakhs.
Notably, a whopping 46 percent of MBA candidates - or nearly half the PGDM batch - grabbed lucrative offers with salaries higher than INR 25 lakhs.

MDI Gurgaon PGDM Placement 2022: Recruitment Highlights
- This year, several offers were made for roles in different sectors including 41% in the Consulting, 22% in the BFSI, 13% in the E-Commerce, 10% in the Technology, Telecommunications and Media, and the remaining in Conglomerates and FMCGs sectors.
- Some of the preeminent brands during the placements were Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Accenture Strategy, BCG, Johnson & Johnson, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, Aditya Birla Group, PayTM, Reliance Industries, Google, Amazon, Microsoft, and many companies from the Tata Group, amongst others.
- Overall, the institute recorded an exemplary participation from a total of 85 companies in the MDI Gurgaon's final placement process 2022, with 32 new recruiters.
- This year, over 391 PGDM students participated in the MDI Gurgaon final placement process, of which 22 percent comprised women.

Some of the prominent recruiters who hired students for various roles during the final placement process at MDI are as follows,
- Goldman Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase & Co., and Nomura offered roles in the Investment Banking sectors
- Accenture Strategy, Deloitte, KPMG, and PwC were some of the top recruiters in the Consulting domain.
- Several leading healthcare companies like Becton Dickinson, Cipla, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, GSK Consumer Healthcare, Johnson & Johnson, and UnitedHealth Group recruited a large number of students for different roles.
