Mahindra University Ecole Centrale kicks off Ph.D in Engg and Applied Sciences

The launch of a Ph.D. was announced by Mahindra University Ecole Centrale School of Engineering (MEC), formerly Mahindra Ecole Centrale, Hyderabad. Academic Session 2020 program in Engineering, Applied Sciences, Humanities, and Social Sciences.

Ph.D. programs in the field of applied sciences will be offered in the disciplines of computer science, civil, electrical & mechanical engineering and physics, chemistry and mathematics. All interested candidates can apply for the program now until 27 June 2020.

Candidates are required to have a Master's degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Science/ Humanities/ Social Sciences with a minimum CGPA of 6.00 or 60% marks in aggregate to be eligible for the Ph.D. program.

However, B.Tech degree holders with a CGPA of 7.00 or 70% aggregate marks and a valid GATE score will also be considered eligible for the program. All other details related to minimum qualifications, experience, etc can be obtained from the official website @mahindraecolecentrale.edu.in.

Full-time Ph.D. scholars will be provided an assistantship of Rs. 25,000 per month plus free boarding and lodging. Also, they will have to mandatorily provide Teaching Assistantship 8 hours a week.

For candidates willing to pursue liberal arts at the Ph.D. level, MEC has a strong Humanities and Social Sciences program, which is backed by high-quality Media and Design Thinking laboratories.
