LU Faculty of Fine Arts Faculty Partners with Bath Spa University


New Delhi: The Faculty of Fine Arts, Lucknow University has formally signed a MoU with Bath Spa University of UK through a virtual meeting on January 17, 2022. This is to bring forth new opportunities for the students. 

The meeting was conducted virtually between the Vice Chancellor Professor Alok Kumar Rai and Dean, Faculty of Fine Arts, Professor Alok Kumar Kushwaha from the LU and Daniel Allen, Kristin Doern and Roger Clarke attending on behalf of the Bath Spa University, UK.

During the meeting, Professor Kushwaha introduced the Faculty of Fine Arts along with its historical perspective and continuous contributions to contemporary Indian Art

Professor Rajan Shirpad Fulari, who has been deputed earlier as the liaison officer on behalf of the LU, discussed multiple introductory activities between two universities. Roger Clarke and others accepted and welcomed the proposals thoroughly. 

Both the institutions agreed for speeding up of ties on art and aesthetics between the two and strongly welcomed the initiative taken by the V-Cs of both the universities,”, as stated in the press statement of LU. 

Owing to the surge in COVID 19, it was mutually agreed that the initial events will be conducted entirely on a virtual platform to abide by the rules of social distancing protocols.
