JNU UG Admissions 2022 Portal Expected to Launch Today for CUET Candidates

This year, JNU has decided to accept admission for the students into its various programmes depending on their CUET test results.

According to the latest reports, an official from JNU stated that the varsity is planning to launch the JNU portal for UG admissions by today, September 27, 2022.

The announcement comes days after the National Testing Agency (NTA) released the results of the first edition of the CUET for undergraduate admissions (CUET-UG).

As soon as the results were announced, Jagdish Singh, the JNU Deputy Registrar - Admission, published a notice claiming that the admission branch was processing the data and candidate information provided by the NTA and that a portal would soon open on its website.

As per the JNU notice, the admission branch will process the data and candidate information provided by the NTA following the NTA's announcement of the results of CUET UG 2022, and will soon launch a portal on the JNU website for applicants seeking admission to JNU to complete an application form by paying the processing fee.

Currently, the university offers 34 PG courses and about 10 UG courses and the varsity is offering 1025 PG seats and 342 UG seats across its affiliated colleges and departments.

Since 2019, JNU has been conducting admission through JNU Entrance Examination JNUEE at different centres of the country in collaboration with NTA through the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
