JNU PG Admission 2022 Open; Last Date to Apply is October 25


New Delhi: Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has begun the JNU 2022 admission process for postgraduate courses through CUET- PG for the academic session 2022-23. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, @jnuee.jun.ac.in.

JNU offers a MSc, MA and MCA at postgraduate level. Candidates seeking admission to the PG programmes can submit their applications till October 25, 2022. 

Admission to the PG programmes at JNU will be offered on the basis of CUET PG scores only. Hence, candidates having a CUET PG score are eligible to apply.

Recently, the National Testing Agency (NTA) released the CUET PG 2022 results on its website @cuet.nta.nic.in. A total of 6,07,648 candidates have registered for the CUET PG exam, out of which 3,34,997 appeared in the examination.

This year, the university has decided to release three merit lists for JNU PG admission 2022, after which the candidates will be able to block the seats against the merit lists.

JNU PG Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria

JNU eligibility criteria 2022 establishes the minimum academic requirements and additional prerequisites for admission to its courses

However, for candidates from the reserved categories (SC, ST), the academic qualifications specified in the JNU 2022 qualifying criteria are relaxed by 5%. Check the eligibility criteria before applying for the PG courses. 

Eligibility Criteria for MA:

  • Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in any subject with at least 55% on the qualifying exam to be considered for admission. 

Eligibility Criteria for MSc:

  • Candidates must possess a B.Sc./B.Tech. or equivalent degree in recognised institute/university with a minimum aggregate score of 55 percent.

Eligibility Criteria for MCA: 

  • Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in BCA or a related field with a minimum of 55% on the qualifying exam.
  • Candidates must have Mathematics as a necessary subject in order to be considered.

JNU PG Admission 2022: Selection Process

  • Candidates seeking admission to MA, M.Sc, MCA, must have a valid score in CUET PG. 
  • The final selection will be based on the merit list released by the university on the basis of CUET PG marks.
  • Admission to M.Sc in Biotechnology and M.Sc in Computational Biology Programs is based on the GAT-B scores.
  • Candidates are admitted on merit on the basis of their performance in the CUET and the deprivation points added to their score in accordance with the approved admission policy and procedures of the University.

JNU PG Admission 2022: How to Apply?

Step 1: Visit the official application portal of JNU @jnuee.jun.ac.in. 

Step 2: Register yourself after filling the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.

Step 3: Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.

Step 4: Pay the application fee and submit the Application form. 

Step 5: Applicants must also take a print out of the form for all future needs.
