JIETDAT B.Tech (AI, ML and DS) Students Shine Bright

At JIETDAT, a student’s potential does not go unaddressed. Ajay Kathat, a first-year B.Tech Data science student won a silver medal at State-level softball competition.

  1. Tech Artificial intelligence students completed agricultural problem-based projects and attended the Regional Convention of 3rd AICTE Chatra Vishwakarma Awards 2019, at Jagan Institute Of Management Studies, Delhi, India.

The B.Tech students of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning adopted an ambitious project to develop an automated fire extinguishing robot that applies working principles of AI and ML. The team proudly represented their college at the famed Tech Fest conducted by IIT Roorkee.

JIETDAT Campus Activities on Roll

JIETDAT welcomed First Year students of B.Tech (class of 2019-2023) with a grand induction program held from 2-14 August 2019. From industrial visits to expert lectures and creative activities, students actively participated in these frolicking activities. To add on, JIET Group of Institutions hosted Prarambh 2019- a fresher’s party for 2019-2023 batch to ensure every student feels home to the JGI family.

This fun-filled event organized at JIHM seminar hall witnessed students performing dance, songs, and skit amid the gracious presence of Prof. (Dr.) Mamta Garg (HOD CSE South campus), Prof. (Dr). Kusum Agarwal (HOD EE South campus), Prof. (Dr.) Chetna Gomber, and Dr. Punita Soni (HOD Management).

The institute lately organized an expert lecture for Technology department students of 2019-2020. The insightful talk was delivered by Mr. Kaushagra Bhatia ( Managing Director - WS Cubetech, Jodhpur), on the relevance of Machine Learning with Python programming.

There isn’t a dull moment for students at JIET. NSS, a students’ club of JIET organized a blood donation camp wherein AI, ML, and DS students donated blood for the greater good of the society.

Prayas 2019 an initiative of JIET organized COS (Chandrama Orbiter System) Project based on ISRO’s Chandrayaan-2 to educate people about the orbiter and its efficiency.
