JAGSoM PGDM Admission 2022: Revised Policy Leads to 68% Surge in Applications, Know Details Here

New Delhi: With the revision in JAGSoM PGDM Admission 2022 policy, the total number of applications for the course has increased by 68% since the past academic year. Registration process is still underway, the last date to apply is April 30, 2022.

As per reports, Jagdish Seth School of Management (JAGSoM), Bangalore introduced a unique Merit-cum-Means Scholarship that covers Tuition, Hostel Fees and Food Expenses for 15 students that has also contributed to the growing number of applications. 

JAGSoM offers 2 year PGDM programmes in various specialisations that include Marketing Major, Finance Major and so on. Candidates seeking admission to these JAGSoM programmes can submit their applications till April 30, 2022. 

Due to the immense admission policy change, as mentioned earlier, JAGSoM has witnessed 68% increase in the applications along with 60% increase in the accepted offers. This led the institute to increase the 120 seats in the PGDM programme to 180.

Due to increase in applications, JAGSoM is will close admissions for its PGDM program by April 30, 2022. Candidates interested in JAGSoM Admission 2022, can apply through the official website. The institute is also expected to begin academic programs early - Pre-Foundation May 6, 2022. On-campus registration for the program is scheduled on June 1, 2022.

JAGSoM PGDM Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria

• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from any recognized university

• Have a score of 50% (45% for SC/ST candidates) in qualifying exam

• Holds a valid score in any of the acceptable entrance exams such as CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ GMAT/ CMAT. The percentage is as shown below:

JAGSoM PGDM Admission 2022: Selection Process

• Firstly the applicants are shortlisted on the basis of their performance in CAT / XAT/ MAT/ CMAT / GMAT

• For early admission, candidates must appear for JAGMAT, JAGSoM Bangalore’s own aptitude test. The test comprises 3 sections to test the English Language Proficiency, Quantitative Aptitude and Logical Reasoning skills of the candidates. Candidates are required to score minimum 50% in this test

• JAGMAT followed by a Group Discussion Round and ‘Shoulder Batch Interview’ rounds

• Final selection is based on the overall performance

• Once selected, 30 students can receive partial scholarship (INR 4 lakhs) and 15 students (from EWS background) can receive full scholarship (INR 14.4 lakhs)

Step 1- Visit the official application portal of JAGSoM Bangalore

Step 2- Register yourself after filling the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.

Step 3- Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form

Step 4- Pay the application fee of INR 2000 through online mode and submit the Application form

Step 5- Applicants must also take a print out of the form for all future needs
