ISC Math Exam 2021: Council for the Indian School of Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has postponed the commencement of ISC Class 12th Maths Exam 2021. The examination for all students will now be held on December 12, 2021.
As per the latest notice released by the Council for the Indian School of Certificate Examinations, the ISC Class 12th Maths Exam 2021 which was earlier scheduled to be held on November 29, 2021, has now been postponed due to reasons beyond the council's control.
Earlier, the Indian School Certificate (ISC) Class 12 Mathematics Exam 2021 was scheduled to commence in the objective-based pen-and-paper format on Monday, November 29, 2021.
With the change of schedule, the examination for all candidates will now be held in the same objective-based pen-and-paper format for a duration of one and a half hours: 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm in the month of December 2021.
The CISCE official notice reads, "The ISC Year 2021-2022 Semester 1 Math Exam scheduled for Monday, November 29, 2021, at 2:00 pm, has been postponed due to reasons beyond our control".
"The ISC Year 2021-2022 Semester 1 Math Examination will now be conducted on Sunday, December 12, 2021, at 2:00 pm" the official notice further reads.
Students who were preparing to appear for the Maths examination on November 29, 2021, are now showing their concerns over the change of exam schedule.
A section of students showed their disappointed Chemistry exams schedule, which is to be held right after the Math examination; December 13, 2021. Students are more concerned about how to revise the chemistry syllabus in just half a day.
Referring to the change of schedule, a school principal said, "This is a new mode the council is grappling with, but the postponement of a subject like maths can upset student's plans".
Adding to the statement, Anish Kumar Arun of South City International School said, "Now we will get a half day time to revise chemistry. We will get six days till the next exam. We will have to rearrange our preparation plans".
