Indian School of Business Inks MOU with Cyberabad police for cyber security

New Delhi: The Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC) and the Indian School of Business (ISB) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to conduct cooperation research on cyber security in areas of shared interest.

The MoU was signed on the campus of ISB Hyderabad by ISB Dean professor Madan Pillutla, Cyberabad Police Deputy Commissioner (Crime) Kalmeshwar Shingenavar, and ISB Institute of Data Science Executive Director Professor Manish Gangwar.

According to the press release, the MoU also aims to jointly publish reports that inform policy practises in cyber security, develop projects for ISB's AMPBA (advanced management programme in business analytics) students to work on as part of their course, and work to organise joint conferences and workshops to bring together academia, government, policy, and industry.

According to Kalmeshwar, cybercrime is on the rise. Following the epidemic, cybercrimes have grown to be a significant problem for law enforcement authorities all across the world, not only in India. The senior police official believed that the collaboration with the ISB Institute of Data Science will improve the creation and application of laws to combat cybercrime.

"I am pleased that ISB Institute of Data Science is partnering with Cyberabad police in its efforts to further boost cyber security through the utilisation of cutting-edge data science research," stated professor Manish Gangwar.
