IIT Roorkee, Simplilearn Collaborates to Offer Program on HR Analytics; Details Here


New Delhi: IIT Roorkee has announced that it will provide a course on HR Analytics: Unlocking Human Capital in collaboration with Simplilearn. The faculty members of the institute will create the curriculum for the programme, which consists of live online masterclasses.

The collaborative program of IIT Roorkee and Simplilearn will include practical exposure through hands-on projects and a capstone, industry-relevant case-based learning, and real-world applications of analytics across HR and numerous other domains and sectors.

According to IIT Roorkee, the curriculum has been created especially for mid to senior-level managers and C-suite executives. Along with Simplilearn's job aid and a certificate of completion from CEC IIT Roorkee, it will include interactive sessions to ensure concept comprehension.

The curriculum is designed to teach HR professionals working at the senior level in many industries how to apply analytics for data-driven choices. The tool will be useful to HR managers who interact with data teams, read output reports, and desire more meaningful dialogues to maximise the value of company data.

This training can also be useful for C-suite executives and consultants looking for data insights and a practical understanding of HR analytics to start new projects or new business concepts. It is not necessary to have prior coding or technological knowledge to join the programme.

Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree in any field in order to be considered for this program. Interested candidates can sign up for the program if they are working professional with more than six years of experience who wants to use analytics to make business decisions. 

The programme would be introduced both in India and internationally and it will include six months of online masterclasses and self-study. The course curriculum will cover Foundations of Business Analytics, Statistical Analysis for Business Decision Making, Exploratory Data Analysis and Visualization using R.

Additionally, Predictive Analytics for Business, Data Science and Machine Learning for Decision Making, HR Analytics for People Strategy, and Capstone Projects are among the main ideas covered in the programme. Electives will include academic seminars on HR Analytics and Unlocking Human Capital.
