New Delhi: IIT Roorkee has started the application process for admission to its full-time PhD program for the academic session 2023-24. Interested candidates can submit their application form through iitr.ac.in/ to be considered for admission to the PhD program.

To apply for IIT Roorkee PhD Admission 2023, Interested candidates must possess a valid score in their master's degree in the relevant field from a UGC-recognized university.

IIT Roorkee offers admission to its PhD program on the basis of performance of the candidates in the qualifying entrance exam. All the Shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview round.

• Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in a relevant subject with at least 60% marks in aggregate (55% for reserved categories).
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree from an IIT with a cumulative GPA of 8.0 or higher on a scale of 1 to 10 is acceptable and exempt from the GATE, GPAT, JRF, or NET requirements.
• Only those with a GATE qualification or a UGC/CSIR-JRF qualification will be permitted admission.
• The selection to the PhD program will be done on the basis of entrance examination/ personal interview /academic performance.
