IIT Patna Offers B.Tech in Engineering Physics from Academic Session 2021-22: Details Here

IIT Patna B.Tech Program 2021: The Department of Physics at IIT Patna has launched a four-year B.Tech in Engineering Physics program from the academic session 2021- 2022. The program will include an understanding of both basic and applied physics concepts. 

Indian Institutes of Technology, IIT Patna’s four-year B.Tech Program in Engineering Physics will include hands-on work practicals, engineering drawing, computation techniques, physics fundamentals, environmental science, mathematics, and electronics.

Candidates who are interested in the program will have to appear for the JEE Main examination. The admission seats for IIT Patna B.Tech 2021 program will be offered to students through a merit list based on entrance exam scores.

IIT Patna B.Tech in Engineering Physics 2021: Key Highlights

As of now, the IIT Patna B.Tech program is available under eight specializations: Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Chemical Science and Technology, Chemical Engineering, and others.

IIT Patna, Department of Physics was founded in August 2008 and began operations to teach undergraduate engineering students. The department launched a Ph. D. program in several frontier topics of physics in July 2009. 

From July 2012 until July 2019, the department offered an M. Tech. program in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology. Beginning in July 2016, the department launched a two-year M. Sc in Physics, followed by a four-year B. Tech. program in Engineering Physics.
