New Delhi: Indian Institute of Technology, Patna has released the orientatuion schedule for first year B.Tech students for the academic session 2022-23.
Dr. Gagandeep Singh and Dr. Amulya Yadav, two well-known IIT Patna alumni, will participate in the programme and share their experiences with the students in order to motivate them to continue the heritage of the school. The freshly admitted batch's six-day induction programme has begun after they passed one of the most difficult exams, the JEE Advanced 2022 given by the Indian Institute of Technology Patna. The faculty advisors of various departments completed the document verification of newly admitted students on November 4, 2022.
The Orientation and Induction event, which is slated to take place from November 5 through November 9, 2022 at IIT Patna's new central lecture hall complex, will give the students a more in-depth look at campus life.
The address by Professor T. N. Singh, Director of IIT Patna, Professor A. K. Thakur, and other dignitaries from the institution will open the event. Eminent individuals from all areas of life will speak after it. The students will be educated on a variety of themes, including "Engineering Challenges in the Country," "Physics to Police," and "Computing, ACM and You," by experts Chanchal Kumar, Managing Director of NHIDCL, Abhayanand, Ex-DGP of Bihar, and Dr. Hemant Pande (Executive Director, ACM India).

In addition to these lectures, there are seminars designed to familiarise students with institute personnel, rules, and regulations as well as raise their understanding of mental health issues. These bright minds will also be introduced to the college's vibrant student groups, technical, and cultural clubs. The Student's Gymkhana has organised interaction sessions for students to get to know their classmates and elders.
